Anthony enjoys learning the various facets of his client’s business and providing comprehensive tax and growth planning strategies. Mark Briefman, CPA
Mark Briefman, CPA brings more than 38 years in diverse tax, financial and business consulting experience to his role as a Certified Public Accountant.
Mark is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Gulf Coast Chapter of CPAs.
Born in Akron, Ohio, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
He has a large clientele of high net-worth individuals whom he advises on income taxes, estate and financial planning as well as preparing their personal income tax returns.
In addition, Mark is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success by helping them establish practical and sound tax and financial processes. Focused on services for small to medium sized businesses, as well as clients in the medical and professional services industry, he is committed to delivering tax and financial planning services that meet each client’s unique objectives.
For small to medium-sized businesses, Mark has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust income tax returns and reviews, compilations and payroll tax reporting.
Mark has been a resident of Sarasota for over 40 years, is married to Laura and has two children, Andrew and Marisa.

Ronald Marshall, CPA
Ron Marshall brings almost two decades of high level tax and accounting experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Ron previously worked at a regional CPA firm as a Tax Manager specializing in corporate and high net worth multi state taxation.

Liz Vaughan is originally from Miami, Florida, where she worked for two prominent firms in the Coral Gables area for over 18 years. She and her family relocated to Sarasota in 1998 due to a job relocation for her husband. She focused on raising her kids and getting to know the Sarasota area before joining our firm in 2001.
Over the years, Liz has cultivated caring relationships with her clients. Liz’s expertise includes bookkeeping / accounting work, with an emphasis in corporate, partnership and individual tax returns.
Her interests include boating, entertaining with friends, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with her family, particularly with the “lights of her life”: her two young granddaughters.

I have been with Lichtenstein, Briefman et al since 1987. Prior to that I was with a local law firm for several years.
Family time (just love those grandchildren), cooking, travel, and reading are my favorite outside activities. Relaxing on the balcony of a cruise ship with a good book is a priority.
Never regret a day of your life, good days bring happiness, bad days bring experience and lessons learned but, the best days bring memories. Always be true to yourself and you can never get lost.
Graduated from high school in Cleveland, Ohio, been in Sarasota since 1977, started with LBS in 2008, my favorite activities are family time, going to the theater, movies and reading.
